Dana Tyrell - #42 for the Tampa Bay Lightning played for the Airdrie Xtreme when they won the Westerns in 2003, then returned in 2004. After the Midget AAA UFA Bisons. Dana moved to the WHL Prince George Cougars, where he wore the 'C'. In 2007, Dana was selected 47th by the Tampa Bay. He teamed up with another Xtreme skater, Zach Boychuk, to play for Canada in the Canada-Russia Super Series. Canada then won gold at the World Juniors. In his rookie NHL season, Dana, a regular on the Lightning's penalty kill produced:

2012 Playoff format

The Playoff format will be as follow:

Division Semi finals will be a best of three game series in each division starting on Tuesday, February 14th to Sunday, February 19th.

Division Finals will be a best of three game series in each division starting on Tuesday, February 21st to Sunday, February 26th.

League Semi Finals will be the winners of the Nitro Division and the Charger Division and the winners of the Challenger Division and the Ram Division with both semi final series playing a best of five game series starting on Tuesday, February 28th and finishing by Sunday, March 11th.

League Final will be the North Champion and the South Champion in a best of five game series North Champion will have venue and starting on Saturday, March 17th and finishing by Wednesday, March 28th.

Hockey Alberta Zone Camps will be held starting on Friday, March 30th to Sunday, April 1st.

Western Canadian Bantam AAA Championship will be held April 5-8, 2012 at Spruce Grove, Alberta.
